The GT was modified to the R-version presented in 2014.
The rear frame was extended for a pillion passenger and the luggage rack and made more load-bearing.
For a longer range the fuel tank was increased by 5 to 23 liters capacity. The handlebars were widened by 25 mm and positioned 10 mm higher to improve the ergonomics.
The reworked, refined version of the electronically controlled chassis has been taken over by the Reiseenduro KTM 1290 Super Adventure. The footrests are lower compared to the R and allow a larger knee angle. The modified with respect to more pulling V-2 engine produces a nominal power of 127 kW (173 hp) and a maximum torque of 144 Nm.
The LC8 engine has modified the cylinder heads , the crankshaft, the combustion chambers and intake ducts compared to the naked bike , so the maximum torque is already 1000 / min earlier.

The BMW G310R is a standard or naked motorcycle developed by BMW Motorrad in collaboration with TVS Motor Company.
It marks BMW's first modern sub-500 cc bike. It was shown in November 2015, and BMW said sales will begin in 2016.
The bike is powered by a four-valve 313 cc (19.1 cu in) liquid-cooled single cylinder engine that BMW says produces 25 kW (33.6 bhp) power at 9,500rpm and 28 N·m (21 lbf·ft) torque at 7,500 rpm.
The configuration is unusual in that the intake is at the front and the exhaust is at the rear of the engine.

The Honda CBR250RR is a CBR series 250 cc (15 cu in) twin-cylinder sport bike made by Astra Honda Motor, a subsidiary of Honda in Indonesia.
It was unveiled in July 2016 in Jakarta.
Production was started in November of the same year for the 2017 model year.
It is the first CBR motorcycle to have a twin-cylinder engine on RR moniker. It is also the smallest Honda motorcycle to wear a CBR-RR badge Previously, Honda also used the "CBR250RR" name for their four-cylinder sport bike sold between 1990 and 1996.
According to Honda, the CBR250RR has technologies derived from the RC213V MotoGP bike, including throttle-by-wire technology, three riding modes, and a more compact engine design than its competitors.
